PARIS PEASE AGREEMENT IN 1991

Three main goals of the Paris Agreement on 23 October 1991
Paris Peace Agreement of October 23, 1991 resulting from preahreach_bauchniykech of Samdech Norodom Sihanouk and Prime Minister Hun Sen, including the parties to the conflict Khmer others, with support from other friendly countries particularly France and Indonesia, as co-chair of the conference.
That agreement led to organizing national elections in 1993 under the support of the UNTAC and considered bringing peace, reconciliation, democracy consolidate national unity, sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity and neutrality, free market economy in the country.



Peace agreement above was signed with the participation of Secretary General of the United State of 18 countries and parties Khmer disputed 4 parties include: 1. The parties Sihanouk popular or FUNCINPEC Funcinpec, 2 sides Zealot ronsersa_cheate_romdaoh_brachapolorodth_khmer's grandfather Son Sann, 3- sides Rouge of Pol Pot and 4. The parties regime, the State of Cambodia's Hun Sen.
18 signatory countries, including: a permanent member of the UN Security Council... (5) US, UK, France (co-chair of the conference), China and the Soviet Union, including countries in South East Asia (8), Indonesia (conference co-chair), Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and Brunei. Yugoslavia (then chairman of the non-aligned countries) and 4 other countries, India, Japan, Canada and Australia.
Paris Agreement has three main goals:


1. Prepare for peace in the country through the implementation of a cease-fire and disarmament among the armed forces of the Khmer conflict sides, as well as the withdrawal of all foreign troops from Cambodia.
2. The foundation of democracy in the country through the Constituent Assembly elections, to prepare a draft constitution for a new country.
3. As a full defense rights by ensuring the sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity and will not be able to abuse the neutrality and unity of its territory.
