 The Cambodia was once to the largest lowland pristine forests and has the highest density endangered wildlife species in Southeast of Asia. As of in 2013 trees  were 24 red list animals including               the northern buffet-checked,  gibbon, asiantic bear,and Icopards. the 

conservationists along with the area's indicdenous peoples  are now battling to save what is left.there are good news and bad news , it seems to be up until now, a losing battle, the good news according to recent report,it is largely entirely within the cambodian goverment's power to stop illegal logging. the conservation  team behind the newly released report found that the illegal destruction the forest is not only systematic,but the government sponsored.
In febraury of 2013, Mr Try Pheap,he is the person of the country's most powerful tycoons,he has reieved the exclusive rights to collect all timber logged economic land concession (or elcs ) in Rattanakiri province.
The research has shown that logger connected with the Try Pheap group, each month advance 10 kilometers inside the forests of the northern Rattanakiri and Stung Treng province, striping them of their most valuable timber. The Risking their personal safety the investingation team was spent more then four months with the hidden cameras to documenting the massive trail of destruction caused by the initially secretive deal between Mr Try Pheap and the government 

Destructing of the forests logging is wigespread in Cambodia. it is happening across the county.it is taking inside the place and outside of ale in the ground cocession. while the techically logging inside ale is a legal. ale  were granted in the post as a pretext for logging operation.the concessionaires were often  increased  in cutting the luxury timbers only. they are were not developing the lands.
thereby,the ground  cocession have been granted in the dense forested areas.logging is taking the part outside these areas too and loge are transported back inside of concession areas to convert them to legally cut timber.in 1973 to 2013 the Open Development Cambodia was released of the forest cover of cambodia, the forests is loss very vastly.and they was  exported to Vietnam and China.these loge were removed from a concession inside Virachey National park.
